350.org Global Work Party At Phillip Bay On 10/10/10

Ania, Indra, Leeanne and Greg from Sustainability Street Phillip Bay and CASES, with the help of Lauren from the 3-Council Ecological Footprint Project, combined resources (sustainably, of course) to hold a composting workshop in celebration of 350.org’s Global Work Party on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 11 AM.

Twenty one people from 14 households attended a great workshop lead by Ania with a bit of help, though not much, from Greg followed by a BBQ cooked by Indra and Leeanne.  Every attending household receive a voucher for a free compost bin and stirrer as well as a kitchen scrap bucket!!  It was a truly great day of community learning and participation on the global sustainability movement. 🙂

You can view some photos of the day at it’s Live Local page.
