Ocean warming a largely man-made phenomena, say researchers. If you ever needed any more proof, this just about takes the cake!
Warming ocean temperatures over the past 50 years have been largely man-made, according to new research.
The study, published in Nature Climate Change, examined rising ocean temperatures over the past five decades and compared them with a dozen different models used to project climate change. It found that while 10% of the rising temperatures could be blamed on natural variations, man-made greenhouse gases were the major cause.
