Waverley Council About to Vote in Favour of Coal Seam Gas!

As we all know, CSG and gas ramp up one of biggest threats to
renewable energy and reducing emissions. Those of you in the Waverley
Municipality need to get along to the Waverley Council Chambers
tomorrow, Tuesday, night and attend Waverley Council to make sure a
motion SUPPORTING CSG mining doesn’t get up

At the March Waverley Council meeting a motion against CSG mining was
passed. A few Lib Councillors weren’t present and have in response put
a rescission motion (Agenda Item 1204.11.1 page 40) on this Coal Seam Gas motion.

Are you around tomorrow night to attend the debate at next Waverley
Council meeting? We want to ensure the rescission doesn’t get up and
secondly if the rescission does get up to make sure that the Liberals
don’t pass a new motion praising themselves for their CSG & renewable
energy initiatives.
